How to do your homework fast: useful tips

1. Work in a comfortable place
A clean desk and a soft chair are the first things you need to worry about. Don't work in bed - that place makes you drowsy and makes you distracted. But if your homework is boring, you can fall asleep at your desk, too. So ask your parents to make a bright light in the room - this way you won't get bored, and you'll save your eyesight.

2. get rid of distractions
Put away your phone, turn off your computer (unless you need it for work, of course) and the TV. Close the door. Let family and friends know not to disturb you when you are doing your homework. The fewer distractions you have, the quicker you can get rid of the math problems you hate. But if notifications about new YouTube videos or Instagram likes still beckon, download an app that will block them for a while. Or just put them on airplane mode for at least half an hour.

3. Set a timer.
At the beginning of each task, start a timer for as many minutes as you need to get the job done. This will teach you to control your time and allocate it wisely. It will also help you focus if you are often distracted. If a certain topic takes much longer than others, it may be a good idea to ask your parents or teacher for help.

4. Get your school supplies in order
Keep books, papers, writing sets, and other materials in an accessible place so you don't waste time looking for the things you need. Stay organized and put your folders, cabinets, and backpack in order each week. Think about the best way to arrange certain things so that all of your school supplies are in a convenient, accessible place.

5. Make a homework plan for each day
Instead of grabbing the first book you see and doing your homework on it, plan ahead. There are several ways to help you make a homework plan. Decide how much time you can spend on your homework in total. Then make a list of all the assignments you need to complete. Think about how long each of them will take. Then move strictly along the list, crossing off assignments as you complete them.
